About Asheville Mothers of Multiples:
The Asheville Mothers of Multiples is a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing an opportunity for mothers of multiples to build friendships, find encouragement, increase parenting knowledge within the club and in the community, and have some fun! We are affiliated with the North Carolina Mothers of Mulitiples (www.ncmom.org) and the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs (www.nomotc.org).
Our Mission
- To promote knowledge of multiples from pregnancy, birth and beyond.
- To help mothers of multiples care for their children, through the exchange of information, encouragement and support.
- To provide a clothing and equipment exchange for members.
- To provide assistance to local families of multiples that are in need.
We typically meet the first Thursday of every month at 7pm at the Women's Resource Center at 50 Doctor's Drive. In 2010, we will be trying out different meeting venues. Please contact AMOM for information on our next meeting.

6:00pm - Please come to help us work on the mailings for the Fall Rummage Sale.
7:00pm - AMOM Meeting - member and registered dietician, Adele Gobble, will talk to us about Family Nutrition.
After the meeting - More socializing at TGI Fridays for those interested.
In addition to our monthly meetings, we sponsor two huge rummage sales each year which provide most of the club’s operating funds, plus money for our participating sellers. We also support other local charities by either making donations or being an active support in their fundraising. (i.e. Helpmate, ABCCM, B.E.A.R. Closet, and many others.)
